1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Virginia and George Bozarth Travel Fund was established by music historian Prof. George Bozarth and named in memory of his parents. The award is given annually to one or more doctoral students at or PhD graduates of North American universities to conduct doctoral or post-doctoral musicological research in Austria. If they seek to conduct research for their dissertation, they must have completed all other requirements for the Ph.D. If they seek to conduct post-doctoral research, they should have completed the Ph.D. within the past five years. Preference will be given to applicants whose home institutions do not offer financial support for musicological research. Aside from the application and research information, one letter of support to be submitted by a scholar familiar with the applicant's work is also required.
