The Susan C. Hill Memorial Scholarship is available to graduates of high schools located within Portland city limits, as well as GED recipients and home-schooled students who reside in Portland. Eligible applicants must enroll full-time at the undergraduate level in any 2- or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit, Title IV postsecondary institution in the United States. The scholarship supports students pursuing majors in Law Enforcement or Public Safety, excluding firefighter training. Financial need is considered, and FAFSA or ORSAA filing is required. Applicants may reapply annually and may receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
