The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium financially supports student participation in NASA-sponsored, non-WSGC Space Grant-administered, and Industry-led programs. Student teams must apply to the specific national competition or program before submitting an application for funding to the WSGC National Competitions and Programs program. Applicants must participate as a team with a designated faculty advisor. They must apply to an eligible NASA-sponsored, non-WSGC Space Grant-administered, or Industry-led competition/program. Team members must be a Wisconsin resident during the academic year; be enrolled at a WSGC Academic Affiliate institution; and be an undergraduate student. Graduate students may serve as a team lead/mentor only. The Spring 2026 application opens on September 1, 2025 and closes on October 13, 2025. The Summer or Fall 2026 application opens on November 1, 2025 and closes on February 2, 2026.
