1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon Scholarship supports U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens who are graduating high school seniors, including GED and home-schooled students, or individuals without prior college experience. Applicants must plan to enroll full time at an Oregon four-year institution offering Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology-accredited programs in civil, electrical, environmental, or mechanical engineering (excluding computer and biomedical engineering). A minimum GPA of 3.30 is required, and preference is given to students interested in the consulting engineering profession. Financial need is not considered. Applicants must submit a recommendation form and a 500-700 word essay addressing their interest in engineering consulting and the type of ACEC firm they envision joining. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
