1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Bobette Bibo Gugliotta Memorial Scholarship for Creative Writing was created in 1995 to honor the late Bobette Bibo Gugliotta, author of several books. Her family and friends remember her as a wife, mother, hostess and one who was "never bored, never tired, always curious." The scholarship will be awarded to students majoring in a creative writing field and who have demonstrated creative writing ability and passion. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled undergraduate four-year college students. They must be attending or attended high school in San Mateo County or Santa Clara County. Applicants must have demonstrated passion and ability for creative writing.
