1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Lawrence W. & Francis W. Cox Scholarship is awarded annually to one undergraduate civil engineering student pursuing any discipline within the field. Applicants must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited or equivalent undergraduate program and be ASCE members in good standing at the time of application and award. Previous recipients may reapply if eligibility requirements are met. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and academic fees. Applications must be submitted online by January 15 and include a signed contact form, personal essay, budget statement, transcript, two recommendation letters (including one from faculty), and a resume detailing honors, activities, ASCE involvement, and work experience. Award amounts are determined annually by the ASCE Board of Direction and disbursed directly to the recipient's institution.
