1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Rustici Livestock and Rangeland Scholarship is available to students who must be attending or entering a two-year or four-year college or university and intend to pursue a career with a focus on rangeland management, with an emphasis towards cattle and sheep ranching in conjunction with good rangeland practices. Grade point average above C is required but grades are not a primary award criteria. Students must express a commitment to pursue careers in the production of domestic livestock (except horses), rangeland management or large-animal veterinary medicine. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. Letters must be dated within the last three months. Letters of recommendation must contain the name of the applicant, comments on the applicant's character and abilities, and an opinion of the applicant's ability to profit from a college education. A parent or close relative cannot be considered as a reference. The name and occupation of each person writing a letter is required. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
