The Roberts Scholarship will be awarded to college students majoring in biological or chemical sciences. They must be pursuing a career in environmental toxicology and chemistry. Applicants must be graduates of Oregon public high schools. This scholarship is not open to graduating high school seniors. Preference will be given to Oregon residents. Students may attend any 2-year or 4-year, public or private, nonprofit, Title IV postsecondary school in the United States. Preference will be given to those who attend four-year public colleges or universities. Financial need may or may not be considered so filing of FAFSA is recommended. Students may apply-compete for one additional year. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a mentor that references their research.
