The Jim and Dianna Murphy Scholarship supports graduates of Oregon high schools - including GED recipients and home-schooled students who are pursuing careers in the commercial trucking industry or diesel technologies. Eligible majors include diesel mechanics, commercial vehicle operation, and related fields. Applicants must enroll at least half time at an Oregon two-year community college or for-profit institution. Financial need may be considered based on FAFSA, which is recommended. The scholarship is renewable annually for up to five academic years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
