1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Ford Sons and Daughters Program was established in 1995 by Kenneth Ford to encourage Roseburg Forest Products employees' children to develop their potential through continuing education. Eligible dependents of Roseburg Forest Products employees in the United States who are 21 or younger with the goal of achieving an associate, bachelor's or technical degree are encouraged to apply. Awardees attending a two-year college or program receive $3,000 each academic year and awardees attending a four-year college or program receive $5,000 each academic year. Applicants must be a dependent child or stepchild of an employee of Roseburg Forest Products. The employee must be full-time and have been employed full-time by Roseburg Forest Products for a minimum of 18 months of continuous employment as of the scholarship application deadline. Students can apply if they are currently attending a community college or a four-year college and meet the age requirement; or they are a high school senior who will be starting college as a freshman in the fall of the application year.
