The YASME Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to students who must have been licensed for at least two years and currently hold a General Class or higher Amateur Radio license. Applicants may be residents of any region. They must be pursuing a field of study in Sciences or Engineering at an accredited four-year college or university. Preference will be given to students active in a local Amateur Radio Club and in community service. Preference will also be given to high school applicants ranked in the top 5 percent to 10 percent of their class or to college students in the top 10 percent of their class. Recipient is to provide YASME a brief report of their Amateur Radio activities at the end of the school year. Applicants must submit transcripts which must cover the applicant's entire high school career to date and, if in college, must include all semesters for which grades have been awarded.
