1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Chester and Helen Luther Scholarship is designed to support adult learners who are first-generation college attendees and residents of Oregon or Clark County, Washington. Eligible applicants must be age 25 or older and graduates of any high school in the designated regions, including GED recipients and home-schooled students. The scholarship prioritizes students pursuing undergraduate education degrees or nursing at either the undergraduate or graduate level, and requires enrollment at least half-time in a public college located in Oregon or Clark County. Financial need is assessed through the FAFSA, and the award may be renewed annually for up to four years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
