1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Iowa Newspaper Foundation offers a limited number of college scholarships for students preparing for careers in the newspaper industry. Students may see their high school School Counselor for more information or complete an online application. Funded by a contribution from Woodward Communications, Inc., the Woodward Scholarship will be awarded to a student studying journalism, communications, mass communications, photojournalism, graphic design, marketing or public relations at a college or university in eligible states. The amount of each Woodward scholarship will be based on fund earnings and will be determined in early 2026. Applicants must submit two references, one reference must be from a teacher and one from a counselor. Applicants must also submit two work samples, labeled with the applicant's first and last name, with their application. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
