1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Antenore C. "Butch" Davanzo Scholarship was developed to help college-bound students, who are interested in pursuing a career in treatment or some other aspect of the water environment field, fund their first year of post-high school education. Applicants must be a senior at a Michigan-based high school or home school program. They must be interested in pursuing a course of study leading to a career in Wastewater Treatment or in some other aspect of the water environment field. Applicants must submit a resume showing full- and part-time employment, education history and extra-curricular activities, for at least the past five years. Applicants must also submit one letter of recommendation from their academic advisor, or other appropriate official, attesting to their interests and other aspects of their application. Their paper, resume, and letter of recommendation must be submitted with a cover letter itemizing the enclosures. Aside from the online application, applicants may also submit their application through mail to the MWEA office.
