1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Mugget Scholarship grew out of the Mugget Growers of America (MGA), an informal group formed in 1981 as a social, educational, and fundraising network within the green industry. Recognizing the importance of well-prepared professionals, MGA members chose to direct proceeds from their activities toward student scholarships. The Mugget Scholarship reflects the group's commitment to collaboration, education, and supporting aspiring horticulture professionals nationwide. HRI scholarships are intended for students pursuing horticulture or closely related degrees. Applicants must be an enrolled student in good academic standing during the semester the scholarship is granted, pursuing either an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or Master's or Doctoral degree. Preference will be given to upperclassmen applicants. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be from a professor or faculty member. The second letter may be from a professor, employer, or professional mentor. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Horticultural Research Institute for more information.
