Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, character, worthiness, and participation in religious life, to women of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America who have completed an undergraduate degree and have been accepted for post-graduate studies at an accredited college or university. Applicants must be a voting communicant member of a parish or mission of The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America for at least one year prior to application. Three letters of recommendation are required. They must be from: (1) The applicant's Parish Priest. If the applicant is the wife or daughter of the priest, then it must be from another priest. (2) An official college or university representative who can attest to the applicant's education accomplishments, abilities and goals.
