The recipient must be a student pursuing a PhD at a Korean University. Candidates must be nominated by a university faculty member. The complete nomination package includes the nomination form; curriculum vitae listing publications and work experience, as well as the month and year in which all university degrees were begun or completed; letter of recommendation from the nominating professor outlining the student's strengths and weaknesses and answering the question: "Why do you wish to single out this student for the award?"; brief outline of the proposed and completed research project, written by the student; and letters of recommendation from personnel in university, industry, and government. University transcripts are not required as the excellence of the student's research accomplishments is the nomination criterion. Please visit the award's website for more information.
