1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Freeman Fellowship supports up to three graduate civil engineering students annually who are pursuing formal graduate education with a focus on hydraulic engineering. Applicants must be ASCE members in good standing at the time of application and award. Previous recipients may reapply if eligibility requirements are met. Fellowship funds may be used for tuition, research, and living expenses. Applications must be submitted online by January 15 and include a signed contact form, personal essay, budget statement, transcript, two recommendation letters (including one from faculty), and a resume detailing honors, activities, ASCE involvement, and work experience. Award amounts are determined annually by the ASCE Board of Direction and disbursed directly to the recipient's institution.
