1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Eugene C. Figg, Jr. Civil Engineering Scholarship is awarded annually to one undergraduate civil engineering student who demonstrates a strong passion for bridge design and construction. The scholarship supports tuition and academic fees for students enrolled in ABET-accredited or equivalent programs who are U.S. citizens and active ASCE Student Members in good standing. Applicants must submit a complete online application by January 15 2026, including a signed contact form, personal essay, budget statement, transcript, two recommendation letters (one from faculty), and a resume detailing honors, activities, ASCE involvement, and work experience. Previous recipients may reapply if eligibility requirements are met. Award amounts are determined annually by the ASCE Board of Direction and disbursed directly to the recipient's institution.
