1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Paul Monette-Roger Horwitz Dissertation Prize honors the memories of Monette, a poet and author, and his partner, Horwitz, an attorney. The award will be given for the best dissertation in LGTBQ Studies, broadly defined, by a PhD candidate within the City University of New York system. The dissertation should have been defended in the previous year. Adjudicated by the CLAGS fellowships committee. Applicants must submit a cover letter stating their name, address, contact information (mailing address, email address, and phone number), school/campus affiliation, and project description. Applicants must also submit one full copy of the dissertation and one full copy of the abstract. Applications may be submitted directly through email or through file-transfer sites such as WeTransfer. Files saved on CD are also accepted. Print copies will not be accepted.
