1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Health Law Section of the Virginia State Bar was organized in 1984 and its membership consists of those in legal practice devoted to dealing with the administration of health care. The Health Law Section is sponsoring a Student Writing Competition in order to promote academic debate and the dissemination of ideas and scholarly writing in the field of health law. The Competition is open to all students enrolled and in good standing during the 2024-2025 academic year at (1) any Virginia law school, or (2) a law school outside Virginia as a resident of Virginia (with proof of residency). Applicants must write an article related to a health law issue or the practice of health law. Preference may be given to topics demonstrating particular relevance to contemporary events, addressing unsettled issues of law, or presenting novel and unique perspectives.
