1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Since its incorporation in 1989 through 2024, the NY Grace LeGendre Endowment Fund Inc., has awarded thousands in fellowships to 175 NYS women. Fellowships are awarded annually for graduate study to qualified women. The GLEF has allocated $6500 for four Fellowships (one, $2000 award and three, $1500 awards) to supplement education costs for the 2025-26 academic year. Individuals who wish to be considered for a GLEF Fellowship must be a United States citizen, or current holder of Green Card or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status. They must have a Bachelor's Degree. They must also be currently enrolled in graduate studies in an advanced graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and have already completed at least one semester in that program. They must have an anticipated graduation year of no later than 2027. Applicants must submit two current letters of recommendation from persons acquainted with their academic performance and/or professional work. These are to be sent directly to the Fellowship Chair by the persons the applicants have selected. Applications may be submitted through email or email, however, email submissions are preferred.
