The ACI Foundation Fellowships will be awarded to undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in concrete. This award is open to study in any field of concrete such as design, materials, construction, education, etc. No internship is required. The award cycle for this application period is the 2026 Fall semester through the 2027 Spring semester. ACI Foundation fellowships can be awarded to international students; however, they must attend an institution in the U.S., Canada or Mexico during the award cycle. Some of the fellowships expect the awardee to complete a 10- to 12-week internship during the Summer of 2026. Those applicants chosen as a finalist for an ACI Foundation fellowship will be notified by February 2026 and must be available to attend an interview with the Scholarship Council on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the spring ACI Concrete Convention. All applicants must be proficient in the English language. If English is not their native language, they can upload a copy of their TOEFL score to their application. This is optional and not required. Applicants must submit two endorsements. Endorsements are statements of evaluation of the applicant, in terms of potential for growth, character, leadership capacity and career interest. Endorsements must be in the English language. One endorser must be an ACI member (non-student) and the other should be an employer, if possible, or a professor.
