The ACI Foundation serves the industry by establishing and distributing fellowships and scholarships to high potential students in concrete-related degree programs. Applicants must be a student enrolled in a concrete-related degree during the award cycle, which is the fall through spring semester of the standard academic year. The ACI Foundation Fellowship will be awarded to undergraduate or graduate students in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, pursuing a career in concrete. This award is open to study in any field of concrete such as design, materials, construction, education, etc. No internship is required. Applicants must be proficient in the English language. If English is not the applicant's native language, they can upload a copy of their TOEFL score to their application. This is optional and not required. Applicants must also submit two endorsements that show their suitability to receive an award. One endorsement must be from an ACI member. Endorsers cannot be students or family members.
