The Sister Mary Petronia Van Straten Scholarship For Pre-Service Teachers will be awarded to qualified students currently enrolled in a teacher education program as an Elementary or Secondary Education Major. Applicants must be enrolled in a public or private teacher education program. They must be enrolled in a teacher preparation course of study, or be enrolled in, or already completed, a course incorporating the teaching of mathematics. Applicants must currently have a GPA of at least 3.00 (B average) or better. Applicants must submit letters of support from two instructors.
