1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Kathleen M. Peabody, CPA, Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the employees of Wolf and Company to remember Kathy, a former employee who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1995. This scholarship was established to reward promising students who reflect Kathy's values and aspire to become truly exceptional public accounting professionals. Applicants must be accounting majors who have sustained a superior academic standing; financial need; and have the intention to seek a career in a public accounting firm. Applicants for the MassCPAs Scholarship Program must attend a college or university in Massachusetts or attend a college or university out-of-state with a permanent address in Massachusetts and be enrolled in at least 9 credits during the Summer 2026 semester or Fall 2026 semester. A recommendation from an accounting professor, academic advisor, job supervisor, or mentor is required. Applicants must also submit a written essay or a video in which they describe what has shaped their decision to pursue a career in accounting.
