1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
If your company is a Direct Member of ARA, you or your college or trade school eligible child or children can apply for the Educational Scholarship, funded by ARA members. All scholarship awards are based on academic excellence and are available to the following seeking a post-high school education: (1) an employee's child or children; (2) an owner's child or children; (3) an employee. First-time applicants must be enrolled as a high school senior, or be employed by an ARA Direct Member facility, and plan to continue or pursue a full-time post high school program in a college, university, or accredited school providing trade, business or technical programs. College or university applicants must have achieved at least a 3.0 GPA, or the equivalent, in their previous educational program. Accredited trade, business or technical school program applicants must have achieved at least a 2.0 GPA, or equivalent, in their previous educational program. A parent or employee must be a current employee of a Licensed Direct or Branch Recycler Member of ARA with a hire date at least one year prior to the deadline of the application year. A letter of verification from the ARA member company that the applicant or the parent of the applicant is currently employed and in good standing with his or her employer must be submitted.
