1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Royden M. Bodley Scholarship supports students who exemplify a lifelong commitment to nature, leadership, and service. Open to Eagle Scouts from the Cascade Pacific Council pursuing studies in forestry, wildlife conservation, environmental science, or related fields, this award reflects the sponsor's dedication to preserving the outdoors and fostering responsible stewardship. Financial need is considered, and recipients must attend Oregon public or nonprofit colleges full-time. The program honors the legacy of scouting and environmental advocacy, encouraging applicants to share their journey and values through a brief personal statement. Additional requirement: Specify date you were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout and the name of the Council you were a member of when you were awarded that rank. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
