The Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled at University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. Candidates should possess a passion for aviation and demonstrate honesty, integrity and selflessness. Named for a remarkable man whose strength of character inspired a high standard of caring in the aviation community, this scholarship recognizes those individuals who have demonstrated honesty, integrity and selflessness in their dealings with others. These individuals should possess a passion for aviation, as Larry Ginocchio did, and utilize their interest or involvement in business aviation to enhance the lives of others. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from those qualified to comment on their career aspirations and qualifications, especially as they relate to business aviation. One letter must be from a member of the aviation department faculty at the institution where the applicant is currently enrolled.
