The Richard F. Brentano Memorial Scholarship supports full-time students who are dependents of eligible employees of Republic Services, Inc. at Oregon locations, its subsidiaries, or Marion Resource Recycling Facility, Inc. Eligible employees must have completed at least one year of service by the March 1 scholarship deadline. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.00 and may attend any Title IV-eligible college, university, or trade school in the United States. Oregon residency is not required, and financial need is not considered. Apply-compete annually, may be received for a maximum of 4 years. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
