The AFSCME Local 2067 Scholarship supports eligible members of Oregon AFSCME Local 2067 and their immediate and extended family including children, stepchildren, grandchildren, spouses, domestic partners, financial dependents, siblings, and parents, provided the member has been active in the union for at least one year as of the March scholarship deadline. Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 and submit a completed FAFSA, which may be used to assess financial need. Oregon residency is not required, and the scholarship may be renewed annually for up to four years. As part of the application, candidates must submit a brief essay (150 words or less) describing the history of AFSCME. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA must upload Pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary to ensure financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
