1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans provides merit-based funding for New Americans, immigrants and children of immigrants, who are poised to make significant contributions to US culture, society and academia. Applicants must be 30 or younger as of the application deadline. There is no minimum age requirement. Applicants must be a New American. They must be an immigrant or the child of immigrants. If the applicant is an immigrant, they should be a naturalized US citizen, a green card holder, an asylee or refugee, or someone who graduated from both high school and college in the United States. Applicants must be planning on starting or continuing an eligible graduate or professional degree program in the United States in the 2026-2027 academic year. The Fellowship is open to all fields of study and students can apply when they are applying to graduate school or while they are in the early years of graduate school. Applicants must submit two essays and recommendations, three are required, up to five are accepted. For applicants who apply in the fall of 2026, the top 77 applicants will be designated "finalists" and will be asked to appear for virtual interviews in late January and early February of 2026.
