1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Georgette LeMoyne was one of the first women to receive a university degree in French Canada. She devoted her life to the promotion of education and employment for women. The CFUW Bourse Georgette LeMoyne Award will be awarded for graduate study in any field at a Canadian university. The candidate must be studying in French and write their Statement of Intent in French. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada; or have proof of status as a Protected Person from Immigration and Citizenship Canada. Applicants must have enrolled or have been accepted to a Master's or Doctoral program, at an accredited university, for the 2026-2027 academic year, and be graduating spring 2027 or later. Proof of registration will be required at time of application, transcripts will not be accepted. Applicants who have not yet started their program may submit a letter of acceptance instead. Applicants must also submit two referee assessment forms. At least one of these assessments must be completed by an academic reference. The second assessment can be either from an academic reference or from a person familiar with the applicant's personal history.
