1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Eastern Orthodox Committee on Scouting offers scholarships each year to applicants who best demonstrate love of God and the Orthodox Christian Faith through service, scholarship, leadership, and practical citizenship in their church, school, Scouting unit, and community. Applicants must be registered active members of an EOCS-recognized program: Boy Scouts of America (Scouts BSA, Exploring, Venturing) Girl Scouts of the USA, Trail Life USA, American Heritage Girls, and Camp Fire. They must have earned the highest award of that program. They must also be a communicant member of an Eastern Orthodox Christian Church recognized by the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA and have earned the EOCS Alpha Omega Religious Award. Applicants must be enrolled in the final year of an accredited high school. Homeschooled students should contact the Scholarship Chairman for guidance in completing the application. A scanned copy of the applicant's official SAT and/or ACT score report, if available, is required. Four letters of recommendation are required.
