1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The NAHJ Ada Lourdes Vigo Afro-Latino Scholarship is available to Afro-Latino students pursuing a career in English or Spanish-language journalism. Scholarships are granted to graduate and undergraduate students who plan to work in English and/or Spanish-language journalism on whichever platform they choose. Students attending four-year colleges and community colleges in the United States and Puerto Rico are eligible for the scholarships. Students pursuing Spanish-language journalism must submit their essay in Spanish. Applicants must submit two references from people who are familiar with their academic and/or journalism work. Letters from relatives will not be accepted. Applicants must also submit work samples in print, broadcast, audio, photo and/or multimedia work samples. Please limit it to three.
