A.J. Amato, Jr. attended Sam Houston State University and earned his BBA in General Business Administration in 1976, and pledged the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. A.J. and his wife, Lynn, realized that he and his siblings had an opportunity that many others did not: a paid-for university education. Now they can help others be "lucky" by establishing scholarships to assist students in getting the same high-quality Sam Houston State University education.
