1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Robert Bigley Scholarship supports Oregon residents entering their third or fourth year of medical school who are committed to specializing in hematology, medical genetics, or oncology. Applicants must be enrolled full time at a Title IV-eligible four-year public or private nonprofit institution in the United States, excluding naturopathic schools. Financial need may be considered through FAFSA or ORSAA, which are recommended. Candidates must submit a personal statement detailing their path to these medical specialties, including relevant coursework, research, or community engagement. The scholarship is awarded for a single year and is not renewable. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
