1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Franz Stenzel M.D. and Kathryn Stenzel Scholarship supports students pursuing careers in healthcare, specifically those majoring in medicine (pre-med and graduate-level), nursing, or medical/physician assistant programs. Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time and meet minimum GPA requirements - 2.75 for high school seniors and 2.50 for college students. Financial need is assessed through the FAFSA or ORSAA. The scholarship is automatically renewable for up to four years if renewal criteria are met. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on their FAFSA must upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary to ensure eligibility for financial need consideration. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC. Please visit the scholarship's website or contact the Oregon Office of Student Access and Completion for more information.
