The Harriet A. Simmons Scholarship supports Oregon residents committed to careers in elementary or secondary education. Designed for students entering their senior or fifth year, or graduate students pursuing certification, this one-time award reflects a dedication to preparing future educators for service in Oregon's public and nonprofit institutions. Financial need is considered, and full-time enrollment is required. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
