1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
Each year, the Louisiana CPA Education Foundation offers scholarships to qualifying accounting majors in Louisiana. At least six named scholarships in varying amounts ranging from $500 to $2500 will be awarded to undergraduate, declared accounting majors enrolled in a four-year college or university. At least one $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a qualifying accounting major enrolled in a master's or doctoral program at a college or university. Applicants must have a 3.0 or better GPA for accounting courses and 2.5 overall. Applicants must submit two reference letters, one from a current faculty member and the second from a licensed CPA or another person (nonrelative or non-educator) who can attest to the applicant's character and why they are deserving of this scholarship.
