1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives established the Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship in honor of Albert W. Dent, the first African-American Fellow of ACHE. This scholarship is offered to provide financial aid to students in healthcare management graduate programs to help offset tuition costs, student loans and expenses. Applicants must be enrolled in a healthcare management graduate program - MHA, MPH, MBA in Healthcare Administration or similar. They must be entering their final year (fall/spring) of their study and must be expected to graduate between September 1, 2026 and August 31, 2027. If applicants have a residency as part of their program and the upcoming fall term will be their second year of study, they may apply for a scholarship. Applicants who have already completed their classroom work and are in the residency part of their program; applicants who currently hold a paid healthcare management position; and doctoral students are not eligible to apply. Applicants must also not be a previous recipient of this scholarship. Applicants must submit their current resume or curriculum vitae; official undergraduate and graduate transcripts; and three current letters of recommendation, one must be from the applicant's graduate program director.
