The American Legion Department of Kansas Music Committee Scholarship is available to Kansas students who have distinguished themselves in the field of music and/or who will major or minor in music at an approved junior college, college, or university. The applicant must be an average or better student scholastically. Only high school seniors, college level freshmen or sophomores will be considered. Applicants must provide three letters of reference. Only one must be from the applicant's music instructor or teacher. The latest 1040 income statement of supporting parent(s) is also required.
