The AFCEA Educational Foundation offers ROTC scholarships ranging from $2,000-$3,000 each are awarded to an Army, Navy (including Marine Corps option) or Air Force ROTC fulltime sophomore or junior students with at least an overall 3.0 GPA or above. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in degree major that is related to the mission of the AFCEA Educational Foundation: Biometry/Biometrics, Computer Engineering, Computer Forensics Science, Computer Programming, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Geospatial Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Information Resource Management, Intelligence, Mathematics, Network Engineering, Network Security, Operations Research, Physics, Robotics Engineering, Robotics Technology, Statistics, Strategic Intelligence, or Telecommunications Engineering. (Majors related to medicine, nursing, political science, psychology, chemical, civil, aerospace and mechanical engineering are not accepted.) All applicants must be of good moral character; demonstrate academic excellence. All applications must be endorsed by their respective ROTC Professors of Military Science, Naval Science or Aerospace Studies. Current transcript (may be offical copy issued by the school Registrar's Office or unoffical copy verified by applicant's ROTC unit). Minimum two letters of recommendation required from faculty in the major of study. Letter of Nomination from ROTC unit Professor of Military Science, Professor of Naval Science, Professor of Aerospace Studies or designed Commanding Officer. Instructions for electronic submission of the recommendation letters will be provided to the endorsers automatically as part of the on-line application process - please do not mail separately. Letters of Recommendation are not accepted from applicants. If the endorser does not receive the email, letters can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Letters should be sent to the address. If electronic submission is not possible, please send official document to the AFCEA address listed above to arrive by midnight of the deadline date.
