1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The American Society of Naval Engineers began its scholarship program in 1979 in order to promote the profession of naval engineering and to encourage college students to enter the field. Since the inception of the Scholarship Program, ASNE has since awarded hundreds of scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing an education and career in naval engineering. Today, naval engineering includes most engineering disciplines as they are applied to a naval specialty and has become a challenging and rewarding career field in high demand. Each year, undergraduate and graduate students in Naval Engineering nationwide can receive a scholarship based on merit (academic record, work history, and professional interest in naval engineering). Graduate candidates must be a member of ASNE to apply for a scholarship, undergraduate candidates don't have to be. Three letters of recommendations are required. They must be on college/university or business letterhead and include the writer's contact information. They must be dated, and the date shall be within one year of the deadline for submitting the application. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
