Blue Mountain College is a private, church-affiliated liberal arts college operated by the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Originally founded in 1873 as a college for women, it became co-educational in 2005. Its 44-acre campus is located in the town of Blue Mountain, 69 miles from Memphis.
