Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many colleges have suspended or relaxed some admitted student requirements and extended decision and enrollment deposit deadlines. We recommend that you contact the colleges to which you have been accepted directly for the most updated and accurate information.

Bard College, founded in 1860, is a private, liberal arts college. It seeks through a writing-intensive, cross-disciplinary and individualized curriculum to cultivate in its students aspirations beyond any they have encountered before coming to college. The faculty, in small seminar classes and through one-on-one tutorials and close advising, builds students' confidence in their ability to think, use language, engage other people, vindicate the relation of ideas to action, and sustain a lifelong curiosity. Its 600-acre campus is located in Annandale-on-Hudson, 90 miles north of New York City.
