1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Bruce D. Sullivan Award will be awarded to a student majoring in accounting who intends to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination. The recipient should demonstrate financial need, leadership qualities, involvement in community service and academic achievement. The Educational and Memorial Foundation Scholarship of TSCPA makes scholarships available to TSCPA student members who have completed introductory accounting courses and are planning to sit for the CPA Exam. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. Students transitioning from a 2-year community college to a 4-year university are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be residents of Tennessee or attending a Tennessee college or university. They must have completed at least 3 semester hours (or equivalent) in accounting by the end of spring 2025. They must be attending college during the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation, one must be from an accounting professor from the university the applicant is attending.
