1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Steiner Family Scholarship Fund has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Applicants must be age 26 and under as of the application deadline date; be high school seniors or students in their final year of upper-secondary school or graduates who plan to enroll, or students who are already enrolled in an undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school or CEGEP (or equivalent). Applicants must reside in the U.S. or Canada. Awards are renewable for up to three consecutive years or until a bachelor's degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Preference will be given to children of employees of former AmeriPride, Canadian Linen and Quebec Linge companies who had two or more years of employment as of January 19, 2018, the official date of sale of these businesses. Academic evaluation of applicants will include a review of the grade or mark average based on the grading system used in the applicant's country and a review of the results of academic examinations.
