1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Empowerment Scholarship Fund was established in 2015 to support medical students at UH Manoa JABSOM. The donor requires applicants to be a graduate of the 'Imi Ho'ola Post-Baccalaureate Program of the University of Hawai'i, John A. Burns School of Medicine; and is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) at the University of Hawai'i, John A. Burns School of Medicine. One letter of recommendation from a professor speaking to the student's leadership ability is required to be submitted. The scholarship may be renewed for four years. Preferences (in order of priority) will be given to renewal candidates; medical students who received a scholarship from the 'Imi Ho'ola Scholarship Fund at the Hawai'i Community Foundation, with a preference for first-year medical students; and to female students.
