1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Elizabeth Gilbert Bowling Family Scholarship will be awarded to students pursuing a degree in nursing. To be eligible, the student must have completed their junior year in high school, be a permanent resident of Florida and reside in one of the following counties: Broward, Hendry, Martin, Okeechobee or Palm Beach. Additional credit will be given if the applicant is, or has been, a participant in the South Florida Fair's activities. Activities may consist of judging events, exhibits, livestock and agriculture activities, volunteering or any other fair related activity. The selection committee requires a personal interview with the applicant. If considered, applicants will be notified by November 22. Two letters of recommendation are required.
