1st Financial Bank USA wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship.
The Northern Michigan University Bridge Award will be automatically awarded to admitted students who meet the GPA, enrollment term, and residency criteria. No application is necessary. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic record to students entering Fall 2025, Winter 2026 or Summer 2026. Students may receive $6,100 per year if they have a GPA of 3.0-3.24; $6,350 per year for students with a GPA of 3.25-3.49; $6,600 per year for students with a GPA of 3.50-3.74; $7,600 per year for students with a GPA of 3.75-3.89; $8,600 per year for students with a GPA of 3.90-3.99; and $9,600 per year for students with a GPA of 4.0 or higher. Students may receive scholarships for up to 8 consecutive semesters, or until completion of first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.
